Barbara Newlin Obituary
AGE: 76 • Felton
Barbara J. Newlin, of Felton, passed away Sunday April 5th, 2015 at Seasons Hospice in Christiana. She was 76. She was born in Jersey City, NJ on February 12th, 1939, daughter of the late Jesse and Sue (Kupcha) Tutor.
Mrs. Newlin was a member of St. Andrews Lutheran Church in Dover, president of the Department of New Jersey American Legion Auxiliary, and an active member of the VFW Auxiliary. Sharing compassion and constantly helping everyone around her gave her great joy and fulfillment.
Mrs. Newlin is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Donald. She is also survived by her two children: Leona Hill and Cornelius Newlin, both from Felton; and her two grandchildren: Matthew and Faith Hill.
A visitation will be held on Monday April 13th, 2015 from 6pm-8pm in the Felton Chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home located on Main Street. The Funeral will be on Tuesday April 14th, 2015, at 11am also at the Felton Chapel. Friends and family may call at the funeral home one hour prior to service time. Burial will immediately follow the service at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE 19966. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society http://cancer.org/donate and/or the National Kidney Foundation https://www.kidney.org/
