Bernice Cecelia Smith

Was born to Salmon Luther and Cecelia Forte Moore on March 6, 1925 in Forest MS. She fell asleep in death peacefully on Sunday, April 15, 2012.

Bernice leaves to cherish her memory her son, Wayne C.

Smith (Barbara) with children DaQuan Motley, Naomi Motley and Ibelise Smith; daughter, Vernay C. Francis and her two children, son Timothy Francis and daughther Niya Francis; two brothers, Albert Moore (Lucy) of Forest, MS and Salmon Moore, Jr., of Flint Michigan. She was predeceased by her parents, Cecelia and Luther Moore, brothers Walter Moore, Daniel Moore and sisters, Lucy Williams and Alice Mockabee. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren as well as relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 21, 2012. Viewing 12 noon-2 pm. Services, 2 pm at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3011 N Heald St., Wilm, DE.
