Dear Brendan,
You will not be forgotten.. my deepest sympathies go to your family. I learned of this tragedy just a few days ago. I'm so saddened that I and many of your newspaper friends could not attend your viewing to show you our respect. What a loss to the people whom you touched and the friends you made throughout your short life. I'm sure many people would have shared sweet stories how you touched their lives as well. Prayers for your family as God holds you in his arms.
Love you Brendan, Rip my friend.

I'm truly distraught after hearing about Brendan's passing and can barely keep it together writing this. My heart goes out to all of his friends and family.
We met early freshman year at St. Joe's and became close friends almost instantly. We had a lot of fun and great memories that year and we stayed close after Brendan left to go back to school closer to home. I've spent many nights sleeping at his parents house, dorm, apartments, and him at mine. Brendan was always such a true friend. He was fun to be around and was as sincere as it gets. Don't recall ever seeing him loose his cool or be in a bad mode. He also introduced me to many of his friends who have also become close to me, one of which introduced me to my wife. We spent less and less time together as life went by but whenever we got together or talked on the phone to catch up, it was as if no time passed at all. I was fortunate enough to get to see Brendan recently and we had a very heart felt conversation, shared some tears and told each other how much we loved each other and how much our friendship meant. As a man, you don't usually get many friends like this where you can truly be yourself or show your vulnerability or share things you outhewise would keep in.
I am so fortunate for our friendship, I will never forget you and you will be sorely missed. Rest easy Mo until we meet again.

Your forever friend, Jared Beard
