Wes was a friend forever these past 44 years. The memories will always remain vivid of someone who was open, honest, fun and non judgmental . I appreciated his character and his humanity and I'm so happy we got together last year.

Met Wes in Master Gardener class in '07. He was such a joy to be around and an amazing inspiration. All the other Master Gardeners and I will miss him.

It seems as if it were only yesterday when Wes and David and John and Peter and I (My name was "Danny Stat" then) and so many others would congregate at Wes's apartment across from Goldy-Beacom college in Wilm. for times of youthful fellowship and good cheer. I am truly saddened to hear of Wes's passing and the hardships of his illness. God Speed, old friend; no doubt you've added another twinkle in the eyes of the Creator and all of us here who knew you have been enriched as well.

Dear Wes, my friend, buddy and best man. You were special to me in many ways. Always sharing you humor, wit, knowledge and caring personality whenever needed. You will be missed by many but you will live on in the hearts of those left behind. LovU Wes...Your future "Wingman". Dunk

'Wes' was a bright light in many of our lives here at Cokesbury. He found love and gave love. I did let him know frequently what a contribution he was making to so many. He was our Cokesbury ambassador and his light will always shine on and be remembered.
