Charlotte L. Bianchi

Age 81, of Albrightsville, PA and formerly of Ashland, PA, died on June 1, 2012 in Albrightsville. She was the wife of the late Joseph Bianchi who died in 1955. Born in Ashland on August 20, 1930, Charlotte was a daughter of the late Joseph and Amelia (nee Neetzow) Rettinger. A graduate of the former Ashland High School, she was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Ashland and the Washington Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, Ashland. Charlotte worked at the Reidler Knitting Mills, Ashland for many years, and then was employed as a hostess at the Cracker Barrel, Frackville, PA. Her primary job, however, was the devoted caretaker for her great-grandsons Patrick and Reiley Costello. Surviving her are daughters, JoAnn Wetzel and her husband William of Hometown, PA and Donna Donahue of Newcastle, DE; Son, John Wetzel of Hometown; daughter in love and faith, Lori Mazur of Albrightsville; granddaughters, Amanda Costello and her husband Joseph with whom she resided and Belinda Donahue and her fiancé Kevin Beale of Wilmington, DE; grandson, Matthew Wetzel of Hometown; great grandsons, Patrick, Reiley, and Dylan Costello; and great granddaughters, Madison and Riley Beale. Four sisters and three brothers preceded her in death.

Services will be held at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, June 5 at the Zizelmann-Roche Funeral Home, 500 East Broad Street, Tamaqua, PA with Dr. Paul Brownback officiating.
