Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, July 16, 2007.
Chloe was 11 and 1/2 months old, almost making it to her first birthday on July 28, 2007. Chloe had a smile on her face during every moment of her full life here on Earth. Her favorite thing to do was simply to spend time with her family and friends. She was an avid fan of trips to the park, the zoo, the museum, and the pool. She loved rolling over on to her tummy and kicking her legs out in front of her on her swing. Chloe enjoyed being held by everyone she met and she loved reaching out to touch the faces of those who held her. Chloe loved drinking her bottles while watching Red Sox games with her daddy. She loved snuggling and playing with her older brother and sister, Patrick and Grace, and she was never once spotted in public without a bow on her head.
Chloe was pre-deceased by her beautiful aunt, Amy Hutchinson and her brave big sister, Lily Schultz. Chloe is survived by her mother and father, Kathryn Hutchinson Schultz and Brian Schultz; her brother and sister, Patrick and Grace; her maternal grandparents, William and Shauneen Hutchinson; paternal grandparents, Mary Curran, and Paul and Pamela Schultz; aunts, Sarah Guido, Molly Hutchinson and Alison Dunn; uncles, Timothy and Brendan Schultz and Billy Dunn and 2 great-grandmothers, Ann Curran and Margaret Schultz. Chloe's time on Earth was a true gift and she left this Earth a much better place than when she found it. She will be deeply and truly missed.
There will be a viewing at CHANDLER FUNERAL HOME, 2506 Concord Pike on Thursday, July 19, from 5-8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Chloe's honor at 11 am, on Friday, July 20, at St. Mary Magdalen Church. Public interment will follow in Lower Brandywine Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation in Chloe's name to the Cardiology Department at AI Dupont Children's Hospital for Children, 1600 Rockland Road, Wilmington, DE 19803.
