Memories and Condolences
for Darla Blake

Not sure what to say?

January 29, 2016

Darla has been a loved and valued addition to our family for over 45 years. I remember when she and my brother Bob met, the honor of standing witness to their marriage and sharing their joy. I miss her, as I'm sure Bob, Megan and Heather do along with many other friends and family. She was an amazingly generous, strong, intelligent and tolerant human being, beautiful thru and thru.

Our sincere condolences to Bob, Heather and Megan. Truly Darla was one of a kind in the best sense of the word. Our family came to know Darla and family through Pony Club. We enjoyed some really fun times sparked by Darla's sense of fun and adventure. Darla you will be missed, but always fondly remembered through your smiles and laughter.

So many great times were had laughing until my side hurt. It was impossible to be around you without smiling and sharing the joy you exuded. I will never have another margarita especially while sitting on the ceiling :) without making a toast to you and thinking of all the fun we all had. Love you!
