David N. Leffet "Night Hunting Hawk" Of Middletown, DE. Age 54. Died Tuesday, May 4 at his residence. Service: 11:45 am Saturday, May 8 at the Chapel of Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle. Friends may call after 11 am. Interment in the adj. memorial park. Mr. Leffet had been employed by Harvey & Harvey and was a US Navy veteran. He was a member of the Assateague Peoples Tribe. While researching his family history, Mr. Leffet discovered that he and his wife of 13 years, Cecelia F. (Smack) Leffet (Bright Eyes"), were members of the same tribe. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, David N. Leffet, Jr., of Fair Hill, MD, Robert Joseph Price of Woodland Beach & Kevin Keith Price of Wisconsin; parents, Charles W. "Buck" & Marilyn (White) Leffet of Marshallton, DE; brother, Brian Leffet of Delpark Manor, DE; grandson, Brandon Michael Charles Ellisworth of Delaware City; 18 foster daughters & 36 foster grandchildren.
