As a scared and troubled sixteen year old living in New York City, Mr. Faulk was always kind and gracious to me. I thank God for the pleasure of knowing such a kind and wonderful man.

As 2018 draws to a close, my thoughts and prayers are with the Faulk family. Mr. Faulk was my first WCG pastor, and Mrs. Faulk was my first 1st lady. They were marvelous. In 1982 I walked into the Norfolk WCG with another first time visitor after being invited by a new attendee to the church. I found out that it was was unusual for someone to come to church without a visit from the pastor. Unfazed, Mr. Faulk humbly introduced himself to both of us, and soon after strolled purposely on stage to give the first of many enlightening sermons I listened to over the next few years. He was humorous, knowledgeable, encouraging, and confident. Under his pastorship I was introduced to the spiritual disciplines of Bible study, prayer, fasting, and meditation, in addition to receiving his good counsel. Ms. Thelma, Eddie, and Michael, may the peace, comfort, and strength of the Father, Son, and Spirit be yours in 2019 and always! Amen

Mrs. Faulk, Eddie and Michael,
I have a special place in my heart for your Husband and Dad. Mr. Faulk, he was a scholar and gentleman always. I remember many counseling session that we held at our home and in the Long Island Church with my Parents Lois and James Williams. When my Mom passed Mr. and Mrs. Faulk was there to console the family and it was a blessing. Mr. Faulk became a second father to a lot of the young men and women in WWCG. I will never forget that my Stepfather would not let me go to my Senior prom until Mr. Faulk step in and council him and I was allowed to go with Eddie as my date and I was allowed to go to Eddies and we had a wonderful time.
When we lose a loved one here on earth, we gain an angel in heaven that watches over us. May you take comfort in knowing that you have an angel to watch over you now. My most sincere condolences to you and your family!

Mrs Faulk, Eddie & Michael,
What I remember most about Mr. Faulk is the fatherly advice he shared with me while growing up in the WWCG. I admired him as a Minister (looked forward to his sermons) and I looked up to him and considered him my other Dad. The remainder of my life I will continue to hold on to those fond memories!
It seems there's very little anyone can say or do to ease the loss of such a wonderful Person, Husband and Father who meant so very much to you. May you find some comfort in the sadness that you bear, knowing there are many hearts that understand and care! My prayer is that you hold tight to memories for comfort, lean on God, friends and family for strength, and always remember how much you are loved. My Deepest Sympathy!
