Elsie Brewster Obituary
Compassion, humor, love; these are just a few traits Elsie Brewster embodied. On February 18, 2021, Elsie succumbed to her battle with COPD at the age of 71.
Born to Thelma & Harry Howard of Wilmington, DE, Elsie was the second child between Judy and Billy. She was an amazing mother, sister, and friend. Elsie was always willing to offer her support without hesitation to those in need. She worked hard, loved deeply, and spread laughter. For many years she was a foster mom to four-legged critters, helping rehabilitate abused and abandoned dogs. After retiring from the DE River & Bay Authority, she and her sister became frequent guests of Walt Disney World. In addition to her love of WDW, she loved cruising, Barbara Streisand, a well-done steak and the Gameshow Network!
She is survived by her sister Judy Deputy, her son David Brewster, several nieces and nephews, and many grand-dogs and grand-cats.
We will celebrate the life of Elsie later this year when it is safe to gather again. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Lolas Landing Animal Rescue. Text: LLAR to 26989 or search the website online.

ELSIE was truly one of a kind. A true friend and always giving help and support to everyone in need. Her personality would light up every room she entered. My teenager years and early 20's werecso.much fun,because Elsie Howard was apart of them.
Rest in Peace,Elsie! You're no longer suffering.
Keep an eye on your sister, Judy from above. She'll live with all your fun memories!
