Frank Pastor Obituary

Frank M. Pastor

AGE: 55 • New York City

Frank M. Pastor, 55, of NYC died peacefully on June 17, 2015. Born July 5, 1959 in Perth Amboy, NJ, he graduated Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School ('77).

Frank graduated from Harvard University ('81). He was a resident of Adams House and a member of the Hasty Pudding Club where he performed in their annual theatricals. Following graduation, Frank moved to New York City and began his long career in advertising. In 1992, he moved to Paris, France to an international advertising agency. Eventually, he created his own company, Fresh Marketing Perspectives.

In 2010, Frank completed the New York City Teaching Fellows Program and taught earth science at Harlem Renaissance High School. Frank's passion for the arts was central to his life as were his frequent international jaunts and the pursuit of picture perfect beach weather. A native of Scotch Plains, NJ, Frank was one of those remarkable individuals who kept close friends from early childhood while adding new ones almost weekly during a life spent seeing the world.

Frank is survived by his mother Joyce Adamusik Pastor of Garnet Valley, PA, sister Lori Koelsch and her husband Eric of Wilmington, DE, and his niece, Elizabeth Niedringhaus, her husband Mark and their toddler son Cody of Chapel Hill, NC. Frank was predeceased by his father, Ambrose who passed away in 1987. Frank is also survived by Daniel Burguet of Madrid, Spain and Roy Kogan, of NYC whose love and devotion were so important, especially during Frank's final days. The family would also like to thank Frank's dear friends Laurence P. Mitchell of NYC and Ellen Barry of Austin, TX for their care, advice, support and love during this difficult time.

It is requested that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Livestrong Foundation, Austin, TX (www.livestrong.org).
