AGE: 67 • New Castle
George S. Tamba, age 67, of New Castle, DE passed away on Monday, May 26, 2014.
George retired from Chrysler as an auto worker after many years of service. He was a avid soccer fan and enjoyed watching Nascar and Indy racing. He also enjoyed dancing , sailing, feeding the birds, and taking leisurely walks. George loved his pets like family, Oliver, Patches, and Gizzy.
George is survived by his daughter, Maria E. Tamba; 1 brother; and 3 sisters. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Tony Sofron Tamba.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2014 from 9:30-10:30 am at the Strano & Feeley Family Funeral Home, 635 Churchmans Road, Newark, DE 19702. A service celebrating George's life will follow at 10:30 am. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery. For directions or to express an online condolence, please visit www.strano-feeley.com.
