HELEN SWISKI Obituary

Helen F. Swiski

Age 82 of New Castle, DE died peacefully December 31, 2005, at ManorCare in Pike Creek.

Mrs. Swiski was born in Peckville, PA to Andrew and Frances Kobylash. She worked as an attendant at Mr. Clean for 24 years prior to her retirement in 1995, and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Her husband, John C. Swiski, Sr., predeceased her in 1974. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Leona and Tom Ryan, of TX; and 2 sons and their wives, John and Laurie Swiski, Jr., of OR, and Joseph and Laura Swiski, of Middletown. She is also survived by 4 brothers and a sister, John and Andrew Kobylash, both of PA, Rudolph Kobylarz, of NJ, Fr. Sr. Joseph Kobylarz, of IL, and Sophie Budjinsky, of NJ; 5 grandchildren, Christopher, Kelley, Andrea, Devon Lynn and Joanna; and a great grandson, Patrick.

Helen's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staffs of Christiana Care and ManorCare in Pike Creek for their kind and professional service.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial service at 12 noon on Thursday, January 5, at the MEALEY FUNERAL HOME, Limestone and Milltown Rds., Wilmington, where calling hours will begin after 11 am. Interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Delaware Military Academy, 112 Middleboro Rd. Wilmington, DE 19804.
