Age 71, of Dunlinden Acres, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2006.
Hugh retired from QSL as a NDE/Radiographer technician. He had previously worked for MQS Inspections and for over 25 years at Lehigh Testing Lab.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa A. Cann; his children, Hugh J. Cann, Lorraine Bare and her son, John, Loretta Uhrick and her husband, Stephen, and their daughters, Carissa, Ashley and Lauren, Terrie Francks and her husband, Paul, and their daughter, Alicia, Michele Cann and her fiancé, Joe, and their son, Joe; his brother, Howard Cann; his sisters, Sally Stevens and Jean Clauges; and his great granddaughters, Savannah and Shania.
A service will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2006, at 11 am at the MCCRERY MEMORIAL CHAPEL, Kirkwood Highway and Duncan Road, where friends may call after 10 am. Entombment will be in Cathedral Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Delaware Chapter, 2306 Kirkwood Hwy., Wilmington, DE 19805; or Heartland Hospice, 261 Chapman Rd., #100, Newark, DE 19702.
