James DIMAIO Obituary

James E. DiMaio, Jr. Age 56, of Middletown, DE passed away suddenly on Sunday, July 25, 2004. Jim was born in Wilmington, DE and attended Mt. Pleasant High School. He retired from Conectiv after 18 years of service. Jim enjoyed his grandchildren, fishing, shooting pool and football, especially the Eagles. Jim was predeceased by his father, James E. DiMaio, Sr., and by his brother, Robert DiMaio. Jim is survived by; his wife of 37 years, Terry T. DiMaio, his daughters, Jane Bonam and Cynthia Kirk of Middletown, DE, his grandchildren; Bennett Kirk, Kathryn and Nicholas Nastoga, his mother Rose Marie Roberts of Ocean View, DE, his brother John DiMaio and his wife Sandy of Newark, DE, his sister Elizabeth (Betty Ann) Winward and her husband Joe of Elkton, MD, his stepbrothers; Mark Roberts and his wife Kathy of Newark, DE and Randy Roberts of New Castle, DE. Jim is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the DOHERTY FUNERAL HOME, 3200 Limestone Road, Pike Creek on Saturday, July 31, at 12 noon, where friends may call after 10 am. Burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jim may be sent to the American Heart Association, 1096 Old Churchman's Road, Newark, DE 19713.
