James GELL Obituary

James Christopher Gell James Christopher Gell, 33, of Dover, DE and formerly of Middletown, passed away on Tuesday, February 10th, 2004 in the Christiana Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Chris was a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters local 74 for the past 12 years. He had worked for Delcard Associates of Wilmington, and also for Joseph T. Hardy Co. and Eastern Shore Construction. Chris was a hard worker and had a big heart and was always willing to help others in need. He enjoyed boating and fishing on the Chesapeake and Delaware Bays. He was also an avid NASCAR Fan. He is survived by his parents, Bill and Sandy Gell of Middletown; a sister, Tracy Gell of Bear; his maternal grandmother, Virginia Kruchen of Dover; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his girlfriend who helped him through his final days, Amy Green, of Middle-town. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, Feb. 14th at 11 am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 15 West Green street, Middletown. Visitation will be on Friday Evening from 7-9 pm at Price Hall, located in the St. Joseph Parish Complex on Cleaver Farm Rd. off of Rte. 299 in Middletown. Burial will be in St. Rose Catholic Cemetery in Chesapeake City, MD. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society, Middletown Relay For Life, 92 Reads Way, Suite 205, New Castle, DE 19720.
