JANE CAHILL Obituary
Jane Marie Cahill, 82 of Newark, DE, passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2009, at Millcroft Nursing Home.
Jane, the only child of Thomas Merton Cahill and Marion Snyder Cahill, was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1927. She grew up in White Plains, New York and graduated from St. Bernard's School, Brantwood Hall, Bronxville, New York and Cazenovia Junior College, Cazenovia, New York. After retiring from Young and Rubicam Advertising Agency in New York City, Jane moved to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Newark, Delaware.
She is survived by a step sister, Joan Maher Gaspard and her husband, Joseph; a step brother, Hugh Maher and his wife, Mary; and 6 nieces and nephews and their children. Jane was predeceased by her parents and her step mother, Catherine Maher Cahill.
A Memorial Mass and Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery in Washingtonville, New York.
