Janet Schrader Obituary
Age 93, of Middletown, DE, passed away May 28, 2016.
She was a wonderful and caring wife and mother, an accomplished sculptress, gardener and amateur genealogist. Janet worked in the medical field for her 30 year career. First, at what is now Wilmington Hospital, then for two doctors as a medical assistant. She graduated from Forest Hills High School in Baltimore, MD as valedictorian of her class and then, through scholarships, attended the Baltimore School of Art and became an accomplished sculptress. After her retirement, she did volunteer work for the Wilmington Senior Center and Contact, Inc.
Janet is survived by her loving daughters, Diane Schrader and Andrea Crouse - with whom she lived; and her grandson, Daniel DeNight.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date. A thank you is in order to Season's Hospice for their care and compassion during her final days.
