I wish he was here now. He was my therapist for several years in my early 20s. I could use his help.

I remember Jeffrie as a real friend; consequently I was comfortable being myself. It was time well spent, especially fun was winning a game or 2 of chess against him; which were far and few between... RIP

What a wise, gentle, and genuine man. I starting seeing Dr. Silverberg professionally at the lowest point of my life my Sophomore year at U of Delaware and he helped bring me to the happiest I’d ever been within 1 year. I am absolutely heartbroken to hear about Dr. Silverberg’s passing, and I send my deepest condolences to his family. I loved Dr. Silverberg like a father, and will think of him whenever I travel somewhere new.

The good doctor and I shared an office together at the DENG, he was a joy to work with and had a good sense of humor. I remember well how he loved when I would say to him and our other office buddy, “naughty naughty”. We worked well together and those days will always hold memories. So glad he took the time to travel the world and enjoy each day.

Respects Dr Silverberg. Thanks for your kind work that we did together. I appreciate the brief association we had and knowing you were there if I needed a referral again. Best wishes always. Your memory is surely a blessing and a comfort

Dr Silverberg, You will be missed greatly. It broke my heart to hear of your passing. I will miss your "quirkiness" which was my inside joke with you. Oskar liked to visit you on the camera as well....and I know you enjoyed that too. You will be missed.... I am glad I was able to know you but I wish it didn't have to end so soon...

I feel so fortunate to have had Jeffrie as a friend and neighbor. I so enjoyed viewing his photos and hearing about his adventures of his exotic travels. I learned much about the world through hearing about his trips and his acquisitions of such beautiful artwork that he displayed.
He was very generous. I would always learn snow was in the forecast because Jeffrie would always offer us the use of his snow blower. I will never forget how his face would light up when I would bake him chocolate chip muffins to thank him for the use of the snow blower. He just loved those muffins!
I will miss Jeffrie very much.

Nancy, what a beautiful piece of writing, which I feel captured Jeff so well in just a few, well chosen, words. Words like adventure, captivating style, gusto, and charismatic - describe the Jeff that I got to know.
I am so happy that we have been neighbors and friends, and that Jeff was in our lives for these past several years. I am going to add a couple of words of my own to describe Jeff: generous, thoughtful, and mischievious. I will miss him very much.
My sincere condolences for your loss.
