Townsend - Joel D. Parsons, 35, of Townsend, DE passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 21st.
A Celebration of Joel's Life will be held on Mon. Oct. 29th at Townsend Church, 4519 DuPont Pkwy, Townsend, DE 19734. Visitation from 5-6 PM, Service at 6 PM, followed by dinner/reception.
In lieu of flowers, a gift may be given to the "Rebekah and Benjamin Parsons Education Fund" at any WSFS bank or mailed to: WSFS, 400 Jimmy Drive, Smyrna, DE 19977.

Joel was my son-in-law , we had some very meaningful conversations about life and marriage, I loved him just as much as I love my Daughter and grand children and I am going to miss him dearly. I truly hope he finds peace in the arms of the Lord, and his family finds comfort in knowing that now he dwells with the Lord.

Joel was a true friend and I'm blessed to have known him. I will always remember our last conversation about the Joy's of having children and that I had so much to look forward to with my little girl. He held her and she looked at him and smiled and laughed her first time meeting him. I will miss you joel, you were more then a friend more like a brother and I will always keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.
