John J. Chiappardi

AGE: 90 • Wilmington

John passed away on Friday, June 3, 2016.

He was born in Philadelphia and graduated from Southeast Catholic High School. John served in the U.S. Army 84th Infantry Division in World War II. Following the war, he attended Drexel University, then enjoyed a long career in the HVAC industry until the age of 75. John was a devout Catholic, loving and dedicated son, husband, father, grandfather and friend.

John is survived by his wife of 63 years, Agnes, and their 5 children; John Jr. (Mary), Denise, Michael (Rita), Donna (David), Debbi; his sister Marie and brother Francis. John is blessed with 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
