John Michael Pyne Of Wilmington, DE embarked on a journey into a new life on Friday, February 27, 2004. John was a kind and gentle soul whose sense of humor and playfulness were extraordinary among his qualities. He and his wife of 35 years, Margaret Suzanne Pyne, who preceded him a year ago on this journey, raised 3 beautiful children of whom he was very proud. The spirit of caring, compassion and intelligence that lives on through his children, James, Jennifer and Kerry, often filled John with amazement and admiration. Such qualities are a tribute to the lives of both John and Suzanne. John, who had a special relationship with plants and animals, will also be fondly remembered by his cats, Jack and Steve. A gathering to honor the memory of John will be held on Wednesday, March 10, 2004, from 7-9 pm at the family's home, 803 McCabe Ave., Wilmington.
