Age 83, of Wilmington ,DE, passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2006, at Wilmington Hospital.
John was a World War II Navy veteran. He was a stockbroker and started with Laird Bissell & Meed, and retired from Dean Witter. He graduated from Wilmington High School, served in the Navy, attended naval flight school, and graduated from the University of Maine.
He was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Angela Trzcinski; brothers, Frank and Joseph Trzcinski; and sisters, Anna Olszewski, Ethel Podlaski, Elsie Oleksy and Martha Trzcinski. He is survived by a brother, Stanley Trzcinski, of Philadelphia, PA; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation for John will be held at the JOHN F. YASIK FUNERAL HOME, 607 S. Harrison St., Wilmington, on Thursday morning, June 8, beginning at 8:30 am. A mass will be offered on Thursday morning at 10:30 am, at St. Hedwig Church, Linden & S. Harrison Sts., Wilmington. Burial will be in Cathedral Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to St. Hedwig Church, 408 S. Harrison St., Wilmington, DE 19805.
