Josephine Sweeney Obituary
Smyrna - Josephine S. Sweeney, 96, of Smyrna passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 31, 2018.
She is survived by her children, Karin Sweeney and her husband Robert Schaefgen of Delaware, Mark Sweeney of Delaware, Lisa Sweeney and her spouse Becka Sweeney of Virginia; her 5 grandchildren, and her sister Theresa Smith of Delaware.
Please join the family for a visitation on Friday, February 16th from 8 am - 9:30 am at Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home, 212 N. Broad St., Middletown, DE. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 am at St. Joseph Parish, 371 E. Main St., Middletown, DE. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent in Josephine's memory to the MOT Senior Center, 300 S. Scott St., Middletown, DE 19709 or Compassionate Care Hospice, 11 Independence Way, Newark, DE 19713.
