Justin Kenneth Hurley, age 15, of Dover, DE passed away on Friday, October 28, 2016.

Born in Newark on October 3, 2001, he was a son of Jerry K. and Wanda L. (Peterson) Hurley. Justin was a 9th grade student at Dover High School and enjoyed trying new things.

In addition to his parents, Justin is survived by his siblings, Jerry K. Hurley, Jr. of North East, MD, Julie K. and Jessy K. Hurley both of Dover; and paternal grandparents, Ella Mae Dumire and Jerry Dean Hurley of New Castle.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE from 10:00 am until 11:00 am followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made payable to Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Homes to assist the family with funeral expenses.

Justin we never meant but we are family. Your mother is my niece and your Grandmother Carol was my sister so that's how we are related. There is a thing about family no matter if you spent time with someone or not your family.

We have family in many places and you are going to meet some amusing people. They have their arms open just waiting for you to fill them. You will be missed here but you will always be remembered. There will be times when something will happen or be said and your name will come up. It'll be like remember when Justin did that or said that
Yes tears will fall but smiles will come also. Your family and friends will struggle and what to know why. But somethings just can't be answered. God called you home and now we have to deal with our loss. We know that you are now safe and without hurt and will be watching us from afar.
