Daddy,
A Candle in my window will burn every night to show you where I am and to signal I am alright . You may not be with us anymore in body but, your spirit and soul are surrounding me and everywhere I look I see you and in a time that has no comfort when I feel such things as your presents I find comfort there knowing your looking down on all of us and still giving us that guiding hand!
I love you daddy!

Dad,
I only knew you the past ten years, ... those were the only ten years I can honestly say and feel like I ever had a
'DAD', in my life.
I told you, when I asked for your daughter's hand in
marriage, 'you've left her in good hands', and that I would take care of her. Now she needs me more than ever.
You will be missed but not forgotten.

in loving memory,
Dan

Rest peacefully Mr. Chaires. I will miss you. I had the privilege and honor of meeting Mr. Chaires through his educational ventures when he chose to come back to school as an adult. We spent many days together in the classroom and we were blessed to be part of his extended family. Fay, I am but a phone call away. We all truly loved Ken. He was an inspiration. I don't regret when we teased him about his vacation (heart surgery) because he laughed so hard the first time Mr. Furst said it in class. Ken will be sorely missed but he was truly loved and touched many lives. God Bless. Kristi King

I never had the privilege of personally meeting the MAN, however he has been simply described as my friends HERO. HERO's are hard to come by and she loved him dearly. To be honored as a hero I trust HE has been an extraordinary man. As Hero's often do he left behind the best of his wonderful legacy of wisdom and strength for her to hold on to, shelter her from the storms of life and pass to the next generation. Carol will not only survive she will thrive through her memories and strength of will passed down from her HERO. The best gift a DADDY could give. My deepest condolences to the family and a special note to MY friend " this too shall pass"
