Age 21, of New Castle, DE, a loving son, adored brother, and cherished grandson, passed away suddenly on August 11, 2008.
Kyle was a graduate of Delcastle High School and was a welder at Steel Suppliers Co. in Wilmington. Kyle enjoyed being a juggalo, playing poker, watching football, movies, fishing, and spending time with his brothers and sister.
Kyle was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, William Ziolkowski and his paternal grandmom, Delores Bowden. He is survived by his mother, Karen Kelly and step-father, Tim Kelly; father, Tom Kirk; brothers, Justin and Cory Kirk; sister, Reagan Kelly; grandmother, Diane Stevenson; grandparents, Bernard and Phyllis Kelly; great grandmother, Amy Smith; his fiancee, Amanda Ainsworth; aunts, uncles, and many cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.
Friends may call on Sunday, August 17, 2008 from 4-6 pm at the MCCRERY MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 3710 Kirkwood Hwy., Wilmington, DE 19808 (at Duncan Road) and also on Monday, August 18, from 10-11 am at St. Matthews R. C. Church Maryland Ave. & Curtis Ave. Woodcrest where a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 am. Interment will be in Cathedral Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions in Kyle's memory to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
