On June 4, 2016, our beloved Logan Michael Banks was called home to our Lord & Savior. He was born only 20 short years ago.

Visitation will be held on Friday Evening, June 10th 7-9 pm at St. Joseph's Parish Hall, 371 E. Main Street, Middletown, DE. Services and Interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Logan's name to the Multiple Sclerosis Society Delaware Chapter, 2 Mill Road Suite 106, Wilmington, DE 19806.

I am so sorry to read about your loss, it is especially tragic to lose a loved one so young. Fortunately, death is only a temporary part of life. So although your time with Logan was far too short, you can have the hope of being reunited with him forever. In the meantime, even though the pain may at times seem insurmountable, rest assured that God will give you the strength necessary to endure the coming months (Psalm 94:17-19). Ann, though i have never met you, I am sending you and your family my prayers. I am so very saddened by the loss of Logan. I can't fathom the loss of a child so full of life and happy. I had been seeing Logan at my house almost every day over the last year and a half. My house has always been full of boys. I raised six of my own and my youngest was friends with Logan through Darren. Just last week, Logan came in the kitchen looking for something or someone. Failing to find what he was looking for he asked me how I was doing. He said we needed to talk so he could get to know me. I thought, "what a unique and soulful child to care about knowing his friends 62 year old mother". You raised a beautiful soul. My sorrows are with you. May God grant you peace at this time.

I didn't believe it when I first heard the news of Logan's passing. I knew him briefly for the past 3 years and I had become close with him this year especially. He told the best stories and always knew how to get a smile out of everyone he came across. He was so caring and self less that it made me want to be a better person. He taught me to never care what others think and to be myself. God has taken an amazing person too soon. #flyhighlogan you will always be loved and missed. Never forgotten.

Logan was one of the young men when you have in class, you never forget him. He was not a the perfect child, but he was such a joy to have in class. His energy and love of life had the ability to make me smile (even laugh) on a regular basis... even when I was trying to get him to pya attention. Logan you will be missed.

I remember walking to school with you some days in elementary school..... We didn't talk for years then caught back up when you came to appo.... Just wanted to say I was very shocked when I heard the sad news about Logan. Back when his father and I dated I use to watch Logan on Sundays while his father coached football, I believe it was. I've known logan since elementary school. We lost touch when he moved schools but every time I saw him he would greet me with a hug no matter how long it was since we saw each other. He was happy and wonderful and I'll really miss seeing him around.

I met Logan at the Peach Festival the summer before my senior year, the summer before his Junior year and we hit it off right away. We spent the entire afternoon at the silver lake park together talking and getting to know one another. I remember sitting under the trees by the tennis courts talking about our families and how we were both raised on MGK Classic Rock. He made me feel great about myself all the time. We were close for a while but like life goes, we grew apart. Almost 3 years passed when I saw him in April and it was the last time I saw him. We talked a while about life. I told him about taking care of my sick father and he told me about taking care of his grandparents. Logan was such a beautiful, warm, and genuine person and everyone that met him saw that. Logan was transparent and real. I loved him very much and always will.
