Major Cephas Obituary
Major Raymond Cephas was born in Wilmington, Delaware July 17, 1936. He passed September 22, 2014. He was the seventh son of ten sons born to Carl and Anna Cephas. He finished Howard High School and then enlisted in the Navy. He was a truck driver who owned Cephas Bros. Trucking. He was fluent in German and insisted that language be spoken in his home. He loved to travel and spent a lot of time in Europe.
He was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers and one sister. He is survived by four sons, Major, Jr., Mark, Maurice, Marcellus; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at Sharon Temple SDA Church, Sunday, October 5th at 2PM.
