MARGARET DIEHL Obituary
Age 85, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 4, 2007.
Born on March 10, 1922 in York New Salem, PA she devoted her whole life to her family. She was a wonderful wife and mother who took pride in her family and home.
Margaret was an active member of Circle 4 Square Dance Club for over 25 years. She was an avid seamstress, loved all types of animals and enjoyed meeting new people. She always had a twinkle in her eye.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Harry A. Diehl, age 84; 4 children, Rodney E. Diehl of Middletown, DE; Diane S. Foster of Perryville, MD; Lori E. Vogan of Phoenixville, PA and Brian E. Diehl of East Earl, PA; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was very loved and will be deeply missed.
Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday April 10, 2007 at the CHANDLER FUNERAL HOME, 2506 Concord Pike, Wilmington. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday April 9 from 6-8 PM and on Tuesday morning from 9-10 AM. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in her name to the Delaware Humane Society, 701 A Street, Wilmington, DE 19801 or the SPCA, 455 Stanton Christiana Rd., Newark, DE 19713.
