Marie BuNel Obituary
Age 92, of New Castle, DE, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 21, 2011.
Born on October 14, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Mary Rogerson Joyce. Marie worked as an executive secretary for the DuPont family for more than 28 years. Marie was a hard worker and decided to go back to work after only 6 months of retirement. She was an avid reader and loved spending time with her loving family.
Marie will be dearly missed by her daughter, Joyce Ann Harvey and her husband Edward; grandchildren, Francis E. Gott, JoAnn Gonzalez (Manuel), Reginald Harvey, Tami R. Coleman (James) and Ryan T. Harvey; 6 step grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; her sister, Alice Ryan; and a host of other loving family members. Marie was predeceased by her brothers, Edward and John Joyce, and a sister Peggy Mulrine.
You are invited to attend Marie's Memorial Mass on Tuesday, June 28, at 11 am at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church, 801 N Dupont Hwy, New Castle, DE 19720. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Marie's name to The Delaware Humane Association.

accompanied Marie and her sister on a 2 week B&B trip to Ireland in 1990....she was (first generation Irish)...she visited both houses where her parents grew up.....she loved it.....kept all the Irish entertained on how we do things in America!!

I really like the photo you chose. I am glad I had a chance to visit with her a couple of years ago when I was visiting Pat. I loved her candid sense of humor. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Enjoy your journey to the Great Beyond! You are well prepared to meet your Maker! I will never forget our great excursion to the land of your Ancestors in Ireland! You were a treat to travel with and you made the trip memorable! Will miss you!
