Mark KILLINGER Obituary

Mark W. Killinger Age 49 of Newark, DE died Wednesday, May 12, 2004, at the Christiana Hospital in Newark. He was born in Omaha, NE, son of William G. Killinger of Wilmington and Karol Abboud Hannover of Wilmington. He graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in Wilmington and he worked as a senior prepress operator for the University of Delaware Graphic Communications Center for 24 years. He was a member of the Killinger Foundation Board of Directors and former president of West Chester University Golden Rams Football Club. His grandfather, W. Glenn Killinger, former West Chester University coach and athletic director, was instrumental in Mark's love for West Chester University sports. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Jessica L. Killinger of Wilmington; an uncle, Jesse R. Abboud of West Haven, CT; 4 cousins, Michelle J Abboud of Alexandria, VA, Christine M Al-Bakri of West Haven, CT, Salah Al-Bakri of West Haven, CT, and Riyad Al-Bakri of West Haven, CT. There will be a funeral service at 1 pm on Monday, May 17, 2004, at the DELLAVECCHIA, REILLY & SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 410 N. Church St., West Chester, PA, where visitation will be from 12-1 pm. Interment will be held privately. Contributions may be made to the Killinger Football Scholarship Foundation, 100 Four Falls Corporate Center, Suite 200, W. Conshohocken, PA 19428.
