Richard Louis Killinger, age 60, of Caro, passed away unexpectedly at his home October 22, 2025.
Richard was born to John and Shirley (Wood) Killinger on November 17, 1964 in Caro. He was the baby of five siblings (and everyone knew it). Richard attended Caro High School and later went on to work at Midwest Rotary Maniforms, ending his working career in the carpentry industry.
Richard was an avid golfer (even if the club went further than the ball) and was walking the local courses every chance he could. He was also known to run a pool table or two, and often played on pool leagues in his younger years. Richard was a simple man. He didn't require the finer things in life. He enjoyed watching movies, walking his faithful four-legged friends all around town, and perhaps enjoying a scratch off here or there.
Richard is survived by his two loving children, Laura Killinger of Deford and Matthew and Alena Killinger of Zyeibrücken, Germany; five grandchildren, Owen Periso and Kimberlee, Natalee, Olivia and Jacob Killinger; sister-in-law, Lori Killinger; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, John and Shirley; brother, David; sister, Deborah; brother-in-law, Terry Pinkoski, sister, Laurene; brother-in-law, Dave Dicks; and sister Cindy Warren.
Richard's Celebration of Life will be on Sunday, November 2, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the backroom of Brentwood in Caro. Family and friends are invited to come share some memories and enjoy mac-n-cheese one last time in Richard's memory.
