Pastor Anthony departed this life January 31, 2016. Mother of Derrick Lindsay, Dion J. Lindsay, Shamar Lindsay, Tyrone Brown, Sheila Wortham; sister of Fred O. Anthony, Bennie Anthony, and Debra Anthony. She also leaves to cherish her memories, 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Odell and Ruth Thelma Lindsay; sisters, Elouise Brown and Brenda Anthony. Funeral 11am, Thurs., Feb. 11th at Canaan Baptist Church, 3011 New Castle Ave., New Castle, DE; viewing 9-10:45am only. Burial, Silverbrook Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family will be appreciated.

What sorrow we feel that our beautiful friend is not close by, to hear her laugh and see that knowing twinkle in her eyes, to ponder her teachings, to feel support from her loving notes and conversations. We praise God for the blessing of Pastor Anthony and can feel a new Angel watching over all of us.
