Michael PIETRUCZENIA Obituary

Michael Pietruczenia Age 64 of Wilmington, DE passed away peacefully at the Christiana Hospital on Saturday, January 24, 2004 after a long illness. Mr. Pietruczenia was a State Trooper for 27 years before his retirement in 1995. After his retirement he worked in the security department at Delaware Park for 3 years. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police and the Delaware Association of Police and was an Army veteran, serving in Germany during the Viet Nam war. He was also a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Barbara (Krempa) Pietruczenia; and his son, Michael E.; 2 brothers, John of Wilmington and Joseph of Bear; 2 sisters, Jan Lisanti of New Castle and Anna Hamilton of Hockessin; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 29th at 11:30 am at the MEALEY FUNERAL HOME, Limestone and Milltown Roads, Wilmington, where friends may call after 10:30 am. Interment will be at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear. So sorry to be reading this. I always think of you when I pass the red light at Milltown rd and Kirkwood hwy and you always there for rush hour.you were always kind and I am sad that you passed away.
