AGE: 84 • Middletown
Nicholas T. Ciranni, Jr., 84, of Middletown passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 8, 2016 at Seasons Hospice IPU Christiana Hospital.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 13 at 11 am at St. Joseph's Parish, 371 E. Main Street, Middletown, DE. Visitation will be from 10-11 am at the church. Interment with Military Honors will be held on Monday, May 16 at 1 pm at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to St. Joseph's Parish Building Fund, 371 E. Main St., Middletown, DE 19709.

My sincere condolences to Nick's family in their time of sadness. God rest Nick's soul.
I knew Nick for many years when he worked in Air Force Education. Nick was the real deal. His love and dedication for those around him and his work was so very obvious...he wore it like a badge. His family was first and foremost, but due to his indefatigable energy, humor, and smarts he had plenty left over for the rest of us. Thanks Nick.

Condolences to Nick's family and friends. During his long and distinguished career in higher education Nick did so much to improve the lives of so many people. He cared deeply about his students, public service and his country. This world is a better place because he was with us. May he rest in peace.

We are so sorry to hear of Nick's passing. He has left many of us with the fondest memories of him and his wonderful sense of humor. Nick was special, and he will be missed by all who knew him.

Aunt Phillis and family, I wanted to send my deepest sympathies for your loss and your family is in our prayers.
Uncle Nick was such a wonderful person and man, so loved listening to him and dad(Buddy) talk amount their time in the service, growing up, and there love of making others laugh.
