Nicholas P. "Nicky" Facciolo

AGE: 88 • Bear

Nicholas P. "Nicky" Facciolo, age 88, of Bear, DE, passed away suddenly at home on Thursday, January 16, 2014. He was a devoted father and devout Catholic who served as an usher at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. Nicky proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He took pride in his work at Colonial Parking working full time until retirement at age 86. Nicky was a boxing fan who liked Rocky Marciano. He enjoyed new cars.

Nicholas is survived by sons: Sam and wife Marsha, Fran and wife Cindy, Nick and wife Barbara; daughters, Nancy and husband Jeff, and Maryann Back; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brothers, Joseph and wife Florence, and Mimi and wife Betsey; sister-in-laws, Delores Facciolo and Fran Facciolo. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A visitation will be held on Monday, January 27, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church, 345 Bear Christiana Road, Bear, DE 19701 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, DE.
