Sue, Nicky, and Charlie:
I am saddened to hear of Nick's passing. I have always had great respect and admiration for Nick as a fellow employee at Hoober. I will always remember him as a gentle giant -strong as an ox, but with a quiet mannerism of doing what he needed to do to complete the task at hand with great efficiency and skill. His knowledge of International Harvester tractors was second to none, and I often went to him as the authority, KNOWING he would know.
I will miss his smile, and friendly "what's up doc?".
I will not be able to attend the services today, but know that Nick had a positive impact on many people's lives, and know that I am thinking of you all as you walk this road.

Sue, Rich and I are very sorry to hear of Nick's passing. Rich said he looked so well July 4th weekend. I am so sorry that I did not get a chance to say hello at that time as we had my brother visiting and other family visiting that weekend. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. We will make a donation to the American Heart Association in Nick's name. We will treasure the memories of our times together over the years starting in Chestertown and then in Rock Hall.
If there is anything we can do to help you please don't hesitate call.

Stella & family, I'm so sorry to hear about the sudden loss of your brother, Nick. It's just too much to rap your minds around, so soon after the loss of your beloved Mom & Dad. Imagining the joyous reunion they are celebrating now, is a small comfort to us left behind. My deepest sympathies go out to all of you. Take care of each other during this difficult time and hold on tight to family. You shall remain in my thoughts and prayers, Linda Shupe-Walden Middletown, DE

Sue - Jane and I are very sorry to hear about Nick's death. We are out of town for the weekend and will not be able to attend any of the services. We fondly remember and appreciate Nick's collegial friendship and commitment as we moved to Middletown in 1982. He played - a very important role in the transition and acclimation of his customers to the Hoober organization.

God be with you and blessings to the whole family.
