Pearline Lewis Obituary
New Castle - Pearline transitioned on November 11, 2018. Viewing will take place on Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 8am to 9:30am at New Pentecostal United Holy Church, 721 N. Monroe St., Wilmington, DE. Celebration of Life will follow the viewing. Interment will take place at Gracelawn Memorial Park.

The ballad of our pearl of the sea at new castle nursing home
This is the ballad of our pearl of the sea
She is the brightest jewel to us that could ever be
Having her in our lives was the real deal
And when telling her a story she liked she say Loudly For real !!
She was our undefeated Queen of the bingo game
But was a good winner never putting others to shame
We know she loved us, and we so love her too
We are sure because we are so blue
For 85 years we had this pearl as our treasure
Her value to us was completely beyond measure,
family and friends visited her often,
and because of these visits troubles seems to soften
I was blessed to see this pearl every day
and when I would see her many worries went away,
she watched out for her roommate, my wife day and night
and always made sure she was alright
MS Pearline Lewis you are so perfect a treasure ,
God had to take you to himself to serve at his pleasure
This poem was written by myself Joe Poli and Rhonda Daniel my wife , who was MS Pearlene Lewis roommate at the new castle nursing home
