To the Robbins family,
As "cops kids" we were all very proud of the work our dads did and the sacrifices they made for our town. Peter conducted his work at the highest level. Be proud.

As a teenager, Peter worked for my dad; his family and mine were great friends. I grew up hearing about all of the pranks my dad and he played on each other~I will always cherish those wonderful memories. My dad especially was always so very proud of all of Pete's accomplishments. I pray that they are having fun once again together in heaven. Peter was a great guy. My mom and I send our deepest condolences to the Robbins family.

Dima and I always enjoyed our working relationship with Peter even when the subjects were not always easy to deal with. He and I had a closer relationship due to that shaky group known as the Harpoon Club. Peter was and will remain a class act. Our deep sympathy to Eileen and the entire Robbins Family.

To The Robbins Family-
I had known Peter back in our youth. Several times I would play stick ball with Bob Straetz and George Ogle in our school days on Valleywood Road. Every once in a while Pete would join us. Even back in the younger years Peter was a leader. He shall be sorely missed by all of us.

It was truly a sad day when I heard of Chief Peter Robbins passing. He was a great police officer. Peter also had a bit of prankster in him. I fondly remember the snowball incident when he was Captain of Detectives. I was fortunate to get the best of him on that occasion. I'm sure that if I make it to the "pearly gates", he'll be waiting for me snowball in hand. My condolences to his family. Rest in Peace Pete. You truly were a cop's cop.
