Rebecca Keyser Obituary
AGE: 81 • Wilmington
Rebecca "Becky" Jeffery Keyser, was born 81 years ago to Marian Govaerts Jeffery and Thomas Jeffery. Becky graduated from Mossic High School in Pennsylvania in 1952 and attended nurses training at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, New York.
She moved to Wilmington in 1953 and soon met Alan Keyser. They were married in 1954. Becky was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She really enjoyed hosting big family holiday dinners when all the family, including all of the in-laws, attended.
She and Alan enjoyed traveling and saw most of the world. Becky worked for several years as a Real Estate Agent after her children were grown.
Becky is survived by her Alan Keyser and daughters Carol Iadisernia (Daniel), Lori Schwander (Lewis) and Susan Keyser, grandchildren Michael Schwander (Jenny), Matthew Schwander (Katie), Christine Engle (Chris) and Katie Iadisernia (Merrill), great granddaughter Angelina and brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Geraldine Jeffery.
A Celebration of Life will be held at CHANDLER FUNERAL HOME, 2506 Concord Pike at 11:00 am on Friday August 5, 2016 where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Ronald McDonald House of Delaware, 1901 Rockland Rd., Wilmington, DE 19803.

I moved into Heathergreen Condos 3 years ago and Becky and Alan were the first to greet me, and with flowers! What wonderful neighbors to have. Becky was always smiling and inviting me to come over. The sweetness and kindness she shared is unique in that all my memories of Aunt Becky are warm smiles and a special kindness that are not common in the frequency which she shared. I will always keep that close.

Our hearts go out to the family for the loss of this exception woman.
Our friendship began as members of the Jewish War Veterans of Delaware.
Becky, as we called her , volunteered along with Alan for many of the activities of the Veterans group.
When we visited Becky during her illness she was always so positive and never complained. What a strong woman.
She will be missed by so many.
