"R.K." Betts
Richard Reedy "R.K." Betts, age 59, of Elkton, MD passed away suddenly on Saturday March 15, 2008.
He was born in Elkton, MD on August 14, 1948 to the late Alvin and Elizabeth Betts. Richard, also known as "Elvis" and "Little Fuzz", worked for the Delaware Department of Transportation for 11 years. He enjoyed buying, refurbishing and selling cars, communicating with friends using CB Radios, and most recently he started playing around and experimenting with computers.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Nancy, and many, many others that considered him a wonderful addition to their lives as a brother, uncle and friend.
Service will be held at 8 pm on Thursday, March 20, 2008 at R.T. Foard & Jones Funeral Home, 122 West Main St., Newark, DE where friends may call 2 hours prior. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
Charitable contributions may be made in his memory to American Diabetic Association c/o the funeral home.
