Richard Fogelman Obituary
AGE: 86 • Newark
Richard Fogelman, age 86, of Newark, DE, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 12, 2014.
Richard proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a man of faith and was a life member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. He retired from Brooks Armored Service and the Wilmington Fire Company. Richard enjoyed spending time with his family and having a good time. He had a passion for traveling, including trips to FL, taking cruises, and visiting casinos. During his spare time he liked to golf and watch the Philadelphia Eagles. Richard was a kind man who had a special place in his heart for all of his pets, especially his surviving dog, Nikki.
Richard is survived by his son, Richard J. Fogelman (Antoinette); daughters, Beverly Barclay (Roger) and Diane M. Fleetwood (Ralph); grandchildren: Stacy, Mandy, Jessica, Lindsay, Ashley, Lauren, and Brittany; great grandchildren, Kalli and Carter, and one on the way; and sisters, Gladys Parvin and Ann Pulliam. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Ruth Fogelman; loving wife, Viola T. Fogelman; and brothers, Harold and George Fogelman.
A visitation will be held from 12 -1 PM on Monday, November 17, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 345 Bear Christiana Rd., Bear, DE 19701 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1 PM.
