Big Poppa,
You know who this is-your number one fan Dad (aka) "Big Poppa." I can't express to you, or any others that may view this, how grateful I am that you blessed me with such a plethora of knowledge that can be utilized as an essential tool in excelling in all facets of life. Whether I have utilized these tools or not can easily be argued. Somehow as sad as I am, and as unfathomable as your loss is for me to comprehend, it takes a catastrophic loss to utilize these tools you have passed down to me throughout my life. This is a serious wake up call, and with you looking over me I will make you proud with an everlasting and unmeasurable amount of love.
Pop, I truly am so grateful to be your son.
Love,
Adam and Ada

Sorry to hear of Rick's death. Was in a class I taught at St, Marks and presented me along with a few of his sophomore friends with the most unique Christmas gift I ever received. I will not disclose what was inside that dilapidated suitcase with the big red bow. A great memory he provided to me. God be with him.
