Rita Faye Hickman

Mrs. Rita Faye Hickman born April 7, 1955 departed this life on Saturday July 18, 2015 at the Hazard A.R.H. being 60-years, 3-months, and 11-days old. Rita was born in Hazard, KY the daughter of Fred Day and Elzie Miller Day. Rita was preceded in death by Paternal Grandparents, Nathan & Martha Day; Maternal Grandparents, Ruben & Mallie Miller. Rita was a Life-Long resident of Perry County, a Member of the Neace Memorial Church. Rita was a great Cook, and enjoyed Conversing with People and loved her Family.

Mrs. Rita Faye Hickman leaves the following relatives surviving: Husband, Paul Hickman of Grapevine; Son, Damon Wayne Hickman & Tammy of Grapevine; Daughter, Kim Renee Hickman & Justin Handlon; Parents, Fred & Elzie Day of Krypton; Four Brothers, Bobby Ray Day of Krypton, Michael Lee Day of Grapevine, Anthony Wade Day of Krypton, and Nathaniel Day of Krypton; Three Sisters, Deborah Kay Daniels of Boons Camp, KY, Hilda Sue Bailey of Milford, Ohio and Robbie Gail Combs of Krypton, KY; Three Grandchildren, Loren Paige Hickman, Damon Preston Hickman and Damiana Presley Hickman; Two Special Friends, Shirley Bowling of Leslie County and Laura Rachel Johnson of Grapevine; also a host of Nieces, Nephews, and other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Rita Faye Hickman will be conducted on Friday July 24, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on East Main Street with Bobby Collins officiating. The Entombment will be in the Hickman-Allmond Family Cemetery located at Grapevine. The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Thursday Evening from 6:00 till 9:00 P.M. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Neace Memorial Church.
