Robert Baylis Obituary
AGE: 63 • Salisbury, MD
Robert Curtis Baylis, Sr., age 63, of Salisbury, MD passed away on July 22, 2014 at Coastal Hospice. Bob was born in Wilmington, DE; he was the son of the late Mariana P. Baylis and Edgar "Bucky" Baylis.
He is survived by his wife, Wandy Baylis; two sons, Robert C. Baylis, Jr. (Armae) and Daniel Baylis; 2 daughters, Dionne Baylis (Kim) and Jennifer Baylis; his sister, Susan Baylis-Powell (Mark) and 3 grandchildren.
Bob graduated from Elkton High School in 1968 and received his Associates Degree from Delaware Technical College. He proudly served 4 years in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Newport News during the Vietnam War. He was a Local 451 Union Ironworker for over 20 years and a talented carpenter.
Interment will be private at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery on July 31st. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home, P.A., 501 Snow Hill Rd., Salisbury, MD 21804. Please visit www.hollowayfh.com to express condolences to the family.
