Robert Gravatt Obituary
Gravatt, Jr.
Robert "Bob" Gravatt, Jr. of Meeting House Hill, Newark, DE died Wednesday February 10 after a short illness. Bob is the son of Lynette Gravatt with whom he lived and Robert and Emalea Gravatt of Leesburg, Florida. Bob worked for 19 years at Siegfried USA in Pennsville, NJ. Bob's main interests were landscaping which he was very proud of, and his guitars, which he played and collected.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughters Alicia and Melissa of Newark, his sister Marie Gravatt and niece Emalea of Clermont, FL., and his loyal dog Theo.
Visitation will be on Monday February 15, from 9:30-11am with a service at 11am at the McCrery and Harra Funeral Home, 3710 Kirkwood Highway Wilmington 19808. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Church Cemetery in Newark. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Delaware Humane Association, 701 A St. Wilmington 19801 or the American Cancer Society, 92 Reads Way Suite 205 New Castle, DE 19720. Sorry for the loss of your son and father. Bob was a wonderful man always willing to pitch in when help was needed. He will be missed here at Siegfried by all of his co-workers.

So sorry for your loss. Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you. All the Gravatt's are in my prayers. I especially remember Robbie and my brother Jeff Shaw being friends growing up in Meeting House Hill.

My sincere condolences and prayers to the family of Robert "Bob" Gravatt, Jr.
I remember Bob in his high school years when my sister, Patricia Przybylski, and Jeff Shaw were friends. I'm glad I had an opportunity to meet him as well as get to know his daughters. My nephew, Tim Guenot, was also Bob's friend and he always commented that Bob was a brilliant guitar player. I'm sure Bob is in heaven now playing music with the angels.
