Age 51, went home to be with the Lord on April 15, 2007.
Roberta was a Staff Sergeant with the 116th Unit of the Delaware Army National Guard for 12 years. She loved being a homemaker and being with her family. She enjoyed arts and crafts, and painting sun catchers. She had a fond appreciation for QVC and loved her dog Tony.
Roberta is survived by her son, J. Jason Fonto; a daughter, Lisa L. Kott and husband Daniel; her mother, Lois McCoury; a sister, Peggy Golt, and 3 nieces. She is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth McCoury and brother, Richard McCoury.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2007 from 10-11 AM in the Chapel at Gracelawn Memorial Park, DuPont Highway, New Castle, DE followed by a Service in Celebration of Roberta's Life at 11 am. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be sent to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
