Newark - Roy Fulton Couden, Jr., age 71, of Newark, DE, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2020.
A committal service will be held at 10 am on Thursday, February 27, 2020, in the chapel of Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, DE.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Roy's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

To Matthew and family: We were saddened to see that your dad died. He was a good neighbor to us for many years when we lived next door on Glyn Drive. He liked talking with Duane, and spoke kindly to our children. They always looked forward to his special Halloween treats he prepared each year to give out to all the trick-or-treaters. Vanessa loved playing with you, Matthew, and now she lives in our old house! Please know that we are sorry for your loss, and pray that you will keep close to your father's family. Hope to see you and your mom sometime.
