Sherm still lives in our hearts, and I know that such a good person is in heaven now. We worked together at Hewlett-Packard and Rohm and Haas, and I doubt I'll ever know a kinder soul. I always kidded him that he looked just like Sidney Poitier (but he did). We never knew he was sick, but he will always be right here in our hearts. May God keep you close to His loving heart! I still can't believe Sherm is gone. He and I worked together in Personnel at Hewlett-Packard, and I brought him with me to Rohm and Haas Company where we worked together again in human resources. He was a fine, fine man and a loyal friend...a gentle soul of great character. His work with Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Delaware give testament of that. May the Lord embrace him and may he always be joyful...God's peace and love, my friend! Steve & MarySandra Foster, Friendswood, Texas

Sherman will surely be missed. He is another loss too soon for our "Train Family." I will always remember him for the stories he told and the knowledge he had. He is one of the best people I have ever known. He will be missed by many.

Our condolences to you Bennie and to Sherman's family. While we were not in each other's company very often, the times Nate and me were together with you and Sherman were always lively and filled with laughter. Please feel free to reach out whenever you feel the need to. We will keep you and all of Sherman's loved ones in prayer for peace, strength and comfort. (732) 882-9513

To the Crisden family.
Sherman will always be remembered for the good old days in "Southbridge" and school days at Elbert school and Howard High. We grew up in a wonderful period of time...we were all family back then.
Sherman had a very warm caring spirit and everyone loved him. God has him now and may he rest in peace in Heaven.
We love you and will miss you Sherman
